Pediatric brain tumors have surpassed leukemia as the leading cause of cancer death in children. Eight top hospitals will compete at Columbia University's 2005 Neurosurgery Charity Softball Tournament in Central Park's Great Lawn on June 11th.
This Tournament is more than just a ball game, it is an example of doctors who are taking their lifelong commitment to medicine to the next level. Dedicated doctors will battle it out at the Great Lawn in New York City to raise funds for pediatric brain tumor research.
Hosted by Columbia University, invited to play include medical doctors who are either interns, residents or attendings. The medical teams will include:
• Columbia University
• Cornell University
• New York University
• Mt. Sinai School of Medicine
• Harvard University
• Yale University
• The Johns Hopkins University
• Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Join us for a fun day of softball and downtown comedy club fun and help Columbia University Medical Center find a cure for pediatric brain tumors!
